My
name is Ganine (Janine) Wawro and I have been the Owner and operator of Hair Replacement of W.N.Y. since its inception
in January of 2000. I was a Hair Replacement technician at one of the areas largest Hair Replacement companies
from 1998 - 2000. I ventured out on my own after only two years for a number of reasons but mostly because I found myself
getting so attached to my clients and wanting to help them not only look and feel like themselves again but to do it affordably.
Most larger companies have a great deal of overhead from salaries to advertising to insurances. The advantage of
dealing with Hair Replacement of W.N.Y. is that I do my best to keep the overhead to a minimum which ultimately reflects on
the low prices. Another advantage would be that you would ONLY be dealing with me. I will do the consultation,
take the order, cut in your style, color your hair if necessary and put on the finishing touches and if you are not 100% satisfied
you ONLY have to deal with me and I guarantee my work. On a personal
note, I enjoy people. I enjoy making people smile and laugh. The clients I have I don't call "clients"
I call them friends and in some instances they are like family. I have had a core group of about 60 clients and we consider
ourselves "doing life together." I truly enjoy going to the Salon and working on these folks. It is
not like a job or a business to me, It is personal. Life happens and when it does we all need a little compassion
and a lot of mercy and I have a lot of both to give. I have dealt quite a bit with Cancer patients and it is such a
thrill to see the looks on their faces when they look in the mirror and see the person that they haven't seen in a while.
